A LITTLE HELP

More time together. Less figuring it out.

Start small. Invite your people. Let someone else take the next turn.

Is OurNextPlan free?

The current version is free to use, with no credit card or subscription. Some new features may become paid options in the future; no paid plan is currently offered.

How do I sign in or create an account?

Use Google to host a plan or manage a group. With email, enter your address and use the code from your latest email to keep your guest replies and join a group. We ask for a display name only if your account does not have one yet. No password is needed. Your unfinished plan stays in this browser while you sign in.

Can I stay signed in?

After your first sign-in on this browser, choose Keep me signed in to skip sign-in on future visits, or Just this session. Your choice applies to this browser, including Google and email sign-in. Clearing cookies or using private browsing can require signing in again. Some browsers restore sessions after closing, so always sign out on a shared device.

Why did my Google sign-in attempt expire?

The sign-in attempt is valid for a short time. Choose Sign in with Google again and finish in the same browser. An expired attempt does not mean a completed sign-in has ended.

What happens if I delete my account?

Open Settings, then Delete account. Review the groups you own before confirming: they and their plans will be deleted for everyone in those groups. Your profile and replies are removed. Ideas you added to someone else’s group stay under that group owner’s name. Calendar copies are not removed. Hosting a plan is different from owning its group.

How do we make our first plan?

Save an idea, name your private group, and sign in with Google. Choose up to three times, then share the invitation in the group chat you already use. Friends can reply and chat in their browser without signing up.

Does Yes mean I’m definitely coming?

Yes means the time works for you. The host still chooses and confirms the final time. After that, select I’m coming, Maybe, or Can’t make it to give your final answer.

How are times shown?

New time options use your device’s local time zone. OurNextPlan handles standard time and daylight saving time. Friends in another zone see their local time. Times that are skipped or repeated during a clock change must be changed to an unambiguous time.

How does another friend become the host?

A guest first adds a sign-in method in the same browser where they replied, then requests group membership. The group admin approves that request. A member must connect Google before volunteering for an unassigned idea or accepting a hosting offer.

Who can see my invitation?

Anyone with the invitation link can open that proposal. The link does not unlock your group’s private wishlist. Share it only with people you intend to invite. Replacing or revoking it removes access for guests using the old invitation.

Why did my guest reply disappear on another device?

A guest reply belongs to the browser used to send it. Add a sign-in method in that same browser to keep access across devices. Clearing browser data before doing so can lose guest access. If a Google identity already belongs to another OurNextPlan account, we keep the guest replies separate and explain your options. Replies from different accounts are not automatically merged.

My email code expired. What now?

Choose Resend code and use the code in the latest email. Check spam, and make sure the address is correct. Wait for the resend timer before trying again. If you change addresses, select Use a different email.

Will my calendar update automatically?

Add to calendar downloads an .ics file. Import it in your calendar app. Changes in OurNextPlan may not update that imported event automatically: download the file again after a change and check the event in your calendar.

What happens when plans change?

The host can update a confirmed plan. Everyone who replied is asked to confirm attendance again in OurNextPlan. Share important changes in your group chat too; the app does not currently send automatic plan-update emails or push notifications.

Can I use it on my phone?

Yes. Open the invitation in your phone’s browser. You can also use your browser’s Add to Home Screen or installation option where available. An internet connection is required to load and save plans.
